at FERRIS FARM
A small, family-run flower farm set on 70 picturesque acres in Buxton, Maine, with a cozy cottage for two. From June through September, we welcome couples for proposals, intimate ceremonies, and a weekend together to celebrate.

Exchange vows at the farm, slow down and enjoy being together. Our Elopement Weekend is designed for couples who want a simple, personal celebration, surrounded by the beauty of the farm.
YOUR WEEKEND INCLUDES
A two-night stay for two at the Cottage at Ferris Farm, with Friday check-in and Sunday check-out.
A deluxe seasonal flower arrangement upon arrival.
A seasonal, farm-grown bridal bouquet and boutonniere.
A two-hour ceremony and farm photography window in designated areas, including access for your hired photographer.
Ceremony access for up to four guests, in addition to the couple.
The barn as a covered ceremony option in case of rain.
Light coordination, including a planning call, communication before your weekend, and on-farm guidance during your celebration.
Shared access to walking paths, riverfront, and surrounding grounds throughout your stay.

Planning your weekend

We offer a limited number of elopement and proposal weekends from June through September. Share your preferred weekend when you inquire, and we’ll confirm availability.

Your ceremony may include up to four guests, in addition to the couple. Your officiant and photographer do not count toward that limit.
Guest visits take place within the two-hour ceremony and photography window. The cottage accommodates the couple only; ceremony guests will need to arrange lodging elsewhere.

Photography and officiant services are not included. You’ll hire and pay these professionals separately.

The barn is available as a covered location for your elopement ceremony. We’ll discuss weather arrangements for proposals during planning.

Yes! We’ll communicate privately with the person planning the proposal and agree on the timing of flowers, the celebration platter, and photographer access in advance.
